Project Meeting 2
This week, you should work on setting up your development environment.
By the next project meeting (4/4), demonstrate a working program or plugin.
- If you are modifying a project, download the existing code and make sure that you can build and run it.
- If you are building a plugin or other add-on, download the appropriate support libraries (often called a Software Development Kit or SDK) and concentrate on building an example.
- If the source language is interpreted, there obviously won't be a compilation step; your effort will likely be concentrated on installation and setup.
- Note that if you are modifying a web application, you will either need to set up a web server locally or get access to a remote server.
